Concept Drawings, and Sculptures

This was a concept drawing for a CG dragon movie for ScyFy Channel.

     A study of a 'dinosaur-ish' creature.

A sculptural interpretation of the same...

While at Unified Film Organization I had the opportunity to do some vehicle and character design. This          first is of a miniaturized sub called the "Helix" for a film called "Antibody".

This one is a manned vehicle, towed into a hurricane for "Maximum Velocity".

This unused concept was intended to be a female version of an alien invader from "Interceptor Force 2".

These are some creature concepts done for an early version of John Vincent's "Mind RIP".

While working at Doug Beswick Productions on the film "Ticks" I had a chance to story-board a stop- motion sequence.

I have worked as a sculptor on several projects.

The "Statue Garden" pieces that come to life via stop-motion at the end of "Beetlejuice".

The "Snow man" that attacks the ship in "Cabin Boy".

A stop-motion Freddy for "A Nightmare on Elm Street 3", including a series of replacement animation          heads for a transformation scene.

This is a maquette and a finished sculpture based on a design by Larry Nikolai for "Elvira Mistress of            the Dark".

This is a T-Rex, stop-motion puppet for the  90's re-boot of the "Land of the Lost" TV series.

Model Building

I had the challenge of creating a 3 foot high model of the U.S. Capitol Building for use as a film company logo. It was decided not to build the east and west wings. I had to use a variety of techniques and materials, including wood, styrene, urethane castings, and miniature vacuform.
